Mempool is a temporary storage area for unconfirmed cryptocurrency transactions waiting to be added to the blockchain.

Mempool is where pending cryptocurrency transactions reside before being confirmed and added to the blockchain. When a transaction is initiated, it enters the mempool of each network node.
