Mainnet is the fully operational blockchain where real transactions occur, as opposed to testnet.

Mainnet is the live, fully operational version of a blockchain network. It processes real transactions and hosts decentralized applications. Unlike testnets, which are used for experimentation and development, mainnets handle actual cryptocurrency with real-world value. Mainnets provide the infrastructure for blockchain projects to operate, ensuring security, transparency, and decentralization. When a project launches on a mainnet, it signifies readiness for public use. This is crucial for validating the technology and gaining user trust.
