ERC-948 is a proposed Ethereum standard for subscription-based services using cryptocurrencies.

ERC-948 is a proposed Ethereum token standard designed to facilitate subscription-based services using cryptocurrency. It aims to enable recurring payments directly on the blockchain. By allowing decentralized applications to manage subscriptions, ERC-948 streamlines transactions and enhances user experience. The standard provides a framework for both service providers and consumers to interact seamlessly. This minimizes the need for third-party intermediaries. It is not widely adopted yet but offers potential for streamlined subscription models. By leveraging smart contracts, ERC-948 could make recurring payments more secure and efficient in decentralized ecosystems. This enhances the utility of blockchain technology in everyday applications.
