Automatic Replay Protection prevents duplicate transactions on blockchain forks. It ensures secure, distinct transactions post-fork, safeguarding assets.

Automatic Replay Protection is a security feature in blockchain technology. It prevents transactions from being duplicated across different forks of a blockchain. When a blockchain splits into two separate chains, a transaction made on one chain could be "replayed" on the other. This could lead to unintended asset transfers. Automatic Replay Protection ensures that transactions are only valid on the intended chain by incorporating unique identifiers or conditions. This protection is crucial for users to keep their assets secure during events like hard forks. It maintains the integrity of transactions and prevents potential financial loss.
